Introduction
Welcome to the site! My name is Coty Beasley and as a web developer and graphic designer I see technology as an incredible tool for communication. I started Beasley Creative in order to make a better web for tomorrow.
My Philosophy
As web professionals, we're curators of content and have a responsibility to build code based on the latest standards that's easily maintainable for years to come. For my clients, this approach not only ensures a solid product up front, but also one that can evolve when it needs to.

It's time for a serious facelift! Beacrea has been super busy and it's time for a new look. We're also building in some much needed cross-browser accessibility and a responsive design. Click the image above to take a sneak peak. Make sure you change the size of your browser to watch the layout change!
From a business standpoint, we've honed in on our services, refined a bunch of our workflow, and we've defined ourselves a bit better. We're in the last few stages of polishing up our new face and we hope to share it with you soon. As always, thanks for the support! Our clients are the best around and make everything worthwhile. =D

New Letters Literary Organization
status: in-progress
Client Information
New Letters is a literary publication from the University of Missouri that was first established in 1934. Their site was outdated (over 10 years) and didn't offer a satisfactory experience when compared to their competition. They wanted a hub where they could display information and users could subscribe to their publication but also had a clean look and was easily navicable.
Project Goal
The site is a major undertaking with prublications from over 70 years that need to be searchable. In addition, their radio program, New Letters on the Air needs to have a place to purchase and search through audio archives. I'm still in the process of bringing this project to completion, but great strides have already been made.

Development Snapshot
http://dev.beasleycreative.com/vlabs
Client Information
Video Labs is an Australian-based company that creates promotional videos for businesses. Following an increase in exposure, they decided to take their brand to the next level.
Project Goal
This project was based around vintage video and lab equipment (Video Labs, duh!). We started poking around ebay and craigslist, snatching up glassware and even found a 35mm video camera from the late 60's in great condition. From there, we set up custom photo shoots to get macro shots of the different items with the goal of telling a story with photography that was both engaging and showed that Video Labs has some real personality.
Definitely one of our most fun projects!

Justin Evan's Personal Site
status: in-progress
Development Snapshot
http://dev.beasleycreative.com/je
Client Information
Justin Evans is a up-and-coming programmer and technology professional in Kansas City. A good friend of mine, we set out to create a personal site that would showcase both his personality and his work in a fun and engaging way, yet in very simple terms, using photography as the main visual hook.
Project Goal
The goal here was to show a bit of color on an oft too boring industry of programming. This site would showcase a new breed of programmer that took a fresh look at being a geek. Here we used an old Apple computer and had a photoshoot to capture the essence of his character. Then we provided a minimalist menu that displays his work, resume, and further promotes him as an individual.

Nova Blue is a GIS charting and mapping company based out of Kansas City. They have experience in government and private work and have decades of experience in the field. Their site was outdated (over 5 years old) and they needed to establish a new brand and concise Internet presence.
Project Goal
The goal was to reass the company's business strategy, distill a ton of informative text into easy to digest paragraphs, and create a new branding for them. This project brought them into a much more professional light and went a long ways into giving them a more competitive edge in their marketing endeavors.
